Yesterday was a semi-busy day. Not much sewing but I did cut binding strips for my North Stars and posted a picture. And cleaned a little bit in my sewing room and rearranged some stuff. Last night was our local Supper Club. The hosts made Armenian shish-ka-bob and cabbage rolls. Very good! Today's plan is to take it kind of easy. I'll finish cleaning my sewing room, piece the backing for Bigfoot, and make binding for North Stars. And I got my Bernie back from the Bernie Spa yesterday afternoon so I'll get him all set up and my other one cleaned, oiled, and packed up until next time he's needed.
LORI - your mini-retreat doesn't sound so mini at 4 days. What will you be doing there? Besides lots of laughing and talking? Do you go home at night? I've never been to a retreat.
CAROL - I wish I could go to your quilt show! Will you be there all day during the show? Have fun!
BECCA - I'm glad you found what sounds like a very worthwhile place to donate what you won't be taking with you. I'm intrigued by it's name, "Teen Challenge". It must be hard to make some choices. I'm so happy your family is there to help you. JANA had a good idea of getting a storage unit to store a few "unsure" items to decide later if you want to keep them.
JANA - Actually time is flying by re Kumquat. But I'm dying of curiosity to find out her name. I don't ask. They don't tell. But to tell you the truth, we've been calling her Kumquat for so long, it just might stick - at least with us! Today we start our 33rd week.

Tonite we are finally going to have our pesto pasta. And I have a lot of fresh spinach left over from the spinach salad I made last night for the gathering we went to. So I might toss some of that into the pasta, too.
What are you having?
