Yesterday was productive for me. I picked six more cups of blackberries And got them in the freezer. Then we did all the upstairs uglies done, a few tacoma errands, and I had a couple hours of sewing until friends called and asked us to meet them for Mexican dinner. This we did with leftovers for today. Not sure if they will be lunch or supper. Today will be dental appointment for Bill. Next stage of getting an implant. Then downstairs uglies plus some sewing.
We haven’t had any rain for two months. Seattle got enough drops last week to measure About 2/100 of an inch. They hogged it all for themselves. Some of our rhododendrons may not make it despite our watering efforts.
Vicky was in fine fettle yesterday. As usual on Sunday morning, her son came by with bags of groceries. At least we always assume it’s groceries he carries in. And he leaves as quickly as he can. Shortly after he left her garage door went up and things came flying out of the garage - boards, folding chairs, coolers, just “stuff“. Then soon we saw more, smaller items come flying out of her kitchen window at the back of the house. Probably containers of food as she “cleaned“ the fridge to put new groceries in. We have two different Boondockers staying with us this week – Wednesday night and Thursday night. They will be parking about 50’ from all that mess. Despite our explanations, I wonder what they will be thinking….
Irish – happy birthday! Was that meatloaf dinner and cake at your sisters last night in your special honor? I hope you have a wonderful day full of surprises. I did get you a birthday card. It’s safe and sound sitting on our dining room table.
Tina, hope you get a stay home day today. I love being home, more and more as the years go by.
Velda, we all know where you will be today! As I type(dictate on Phone) your walk-through appointment starts in about 15 minutes
Becca, good to hear the twins are doing great. Isn’t their second birthday coming up shortly? I remember they were born in August but supposed to be Thanksgiving babies.
We still have some kielbasa in the fridge so if I cook tonight it will be jambalaya. Or we may eat our restaurant leftovers. We will see how Bill‘s dental appointment goes. Maybe dinner will be soup for him
