I just make my own, but usually with coffee. Simple enough to do, just put your hot coffee or tea in sink or basin and let it sit for awhile till it becomes the color that you want, rinse it in cold water. You can add a bit of vinegar after your done to set the color. It works for me.

Not sure they still sell it, but I would make your own. I use tea if I need to, but the coffee idea sounds like it would work also.

When I did crafts I would use Rit dye in the tan color. I would do about 5 or 6 yards at a time in the washer. It always worked for me.

I've tea & coffee dyed a lot of fabric and it works just fine. And you can get the color as light or deep as you want it.

Hey, girls, I read in a quilting magazine that tea and coffee dying is not good for the fabric. Something about the acid. It suggested using regular fabric dye which will not harm your fabric.

Cindyg I haven't read it but it certainly makes good sense! I guess I should start using dye. Thanks for posting this.
