Have you checked out QIAD shopping---makes me giddy! There fabric is the best quality and great prices. Check out the sale fabrics, wide backing, and the different collections, ooh's and aah's, LOL!

I will sure cast my votes for the QIAD shopping. I wasn't too impressed with the Homestead because I didn't see much of a price difference than my local quilt shop. I don't like paying $8....for a yard of fabric when I can get it on sale for less on QIAD!! Thanks for the information though.

Have you looked under the General Discussion area at the topic "Of You Thought Last Sale Was Good" or something to that affect? Starting this Friday through the weekend the sale fabric will be $3.00 yd instead of the reg sale price of $4.00 yd. Cannot go wrong on that deal. Might want to take a look and plan on placing an order.

Kona cotton is usually right next to the quilting cotton. It's got a heavier texture than muslin.
