If you are brand new to quilting, I would suggest Eleanor Burns' Log Cabin Quilt book. The directions are EASY to understand and I think you'll learn a lot. Quick Trip Quilts is another book good for beginners and the quilts are BEAUTIFUL!! Especially now, since you can order any of her books, except the newest Magic Vine, at 50% off tomorrow or Sunday. May 12 & 13! Have fun - you'll be addicted like the rest of us before long!
