I'm looking to buy a brother QC1000, and was hoping someone could tell me if it is worth buying? I'm buying it used and not sure what is a good price for a 3 year old machine.

Go to on-line user groups and read what people who use this machine have to say about it. I have a Nolting and love it. Have never sewn on a Brother anything.

I've heard good about Nolting and especially the backup and service.
