What size needle do you use for
I use low loft batting on my babylock espire. Do you use 11or 14 to to do your free motion quilting

Not sure which size would be better. Hopefully someone else will be by soon.

I do very little free motion quilting, Glenda, but when I do, I almost always use Warm & Natural or Warm & White batting. Not sure if that would make a difference. I usually have a 12 needle in, but I think a 14 would be OK, too. 11 might be a little small for quilting through 2 layers of fabric and batting.

Could you use some scraps and test each size and see which you like best?

Glenda I use either 20/80 or warm and natural and a quilting machine needle.
