Quilter's Almanac Fabric Line

Post by AlbanGK »

How would I go about finding out what fabric line was used in the Quilter's Almanac quilt and if it is still available. I had a store bought quilt with that fabric line years ago, it wore out and I'd love to make a new quilt with that same fabric.

Best thing that I do is if you know the manufacturer's name - Google search on that and you might come up with some shops that carry the fabric - also E-bay might have someone selling off their stash with that in it - so I would try Google first - Good Luck

I was going to say Google. If that quilt doesn't come up you might try quilt historians and you could possibly get in touch with someone that might know.

If you are looking at the Almanac quilt that Eleanor Burns made, she normally lists the fabric she uses in her books. You may want to try looking for her book.

I looked in the quilters almanac book and it said they picked a floral focus fabric and everyone added to it... if you contact QIAD they might be able to tell you but it may be no longer available...

hope this helps.
