I took a fabulous day class with Eleanor at the IQF in Houston about 4 years ago. It was making a lap top size quilt and was in kit form from her True Blue collection of fabrics.
Now confession time, due to moving country twice and a dozen other things I have never got round to quilting the top. Now I am ready to start but can't remember the name of the pattern used and how best to quilt it. I would like to do it by hand but really don't know where to start.
By any chance did any of you out there go along? Or do you know how to track it down? The quilt features stars and little 4 patch blocks along with some larger plain areas.

hi Toni,
have you clicked on the "Quilt ina Day " logo at the top of this page and checked out the patterns... this would give you the name of the pattern you made.
as for the quilting you can quilt it any way you like...either your own design or use stensils and mark your quilt with something erasable like chalk or a wash out marker...
you could also post a picture and someone will know which pattern it is...

Hi Toni,
Chriss is right, you might check out the patterns section of QIAD. Just click on the "Shop Online" on the brown bar at the top of this page. Then go to "Patterns". You might see it there.
Or send an e-mail to QIAD, someone will possibly be able to help you if you can't find it in the list of patterns.

Toni - I don't know the answer but I do want to say that I'm so glad you were in my city. I hope you felt at home here and that you had a good time at the quilt show. Will you be coming back?

Sounds pretty! Go to QIAD website and search for your pattern. Lovely quilt sounds like.

Hi Toni,
Your quilt might be the Buckeye Beauty from the Quilts Through the Seasons book. That book was published in 2006, so the timing is right. At that time Eleanor had a new line of fabric called Through the Seasons which is very much like the new True Blue collection - just a variation of colors. If you have the book you can get an idea of the quilting in several photos.
