adopt some geese!

Post by CaroleJ »

Hey, everyone...I was tidying the sewing area this morning and came across all the extra geese left over from the Calendar Block swap. I have NO clue what to do with them...then it occurred to me that someone here may want to give them a home and use them in a project.

They are Granny Smith apple green, tone on tone fabrics. 4 x 6 inches (finished size). Some are stitched together in strips of 4, but could be taken apart and used individually.

If you are interested in adopting my flock, let me know. I'll mail them to you.

CaroleJ - In the Bear In The Woods book there is a box made from flying geese. It is designed to use a solid top and bottom and is like a geometry problem. Your daughters might find it interesting to see how to make a box.

Thanks, Carol...but I think I have a taker for my geese...

I'll keep that project in mind; it does sound like fun!
