I have some hand-dyed fabric I want to use in a quilt...I want to make sure it doesn`t run...what should I rinse it with? Any ideas? Thanks ,,, Evelyn

I give all my fabric a vinegar bath/soak. Then wash with a little bit of soap then dry. Vinegar sets the color. Remember dying Easter eggs and you had to use vinegar to set the color on the eggs?

If the vinegar does not work you might try "Retayne". I was told vinegar does not always work. To test check the water in the rinse cycle.
