Quilted Bible Cover

Post by grannysparlor » Thu Oct 16, 2008 4:13 pm

Does anyone out there have a pattern or could tell me how to make a quilted bible cover. I have seen some at church but no one could tell me how to make one.
Thanks

I do not know and would like to know. I have an embroidered bible cover. The next step was to quilt the cover and I am afraid to just jump in and start cutting. I would like some instructions in how to judge the size.

granny, PM me your snail mail & I will send you an old cover that I have pulled apart if you are able to make a pattern from that. I was going to make some, but, alas I never got to it. It has a zipper compartment in the front and a zipper closure with a handle. It is made with quilted fabric.

Here is a pattern:

I just saw another pattern on a website that was posted recently. I'll come across it later probably and will post it also.

This is a great idea. I was going to do this a few years ago, but couldn't figure out how to get it together. Will be checking back later to check out everyones ideas. Thank you for posting this Grannysparlor
