Quilt in a Day Forums

QIAD has nice fabrics. I have ordered from Sew Batiks and love their fabric. I like to shop at the Quilt Shops and feel the fabric and match up the colors/prints though. Sometimes the colors are not "true" online and you have to pay shipping costs.

I almost never buy fabric on line because I have several quilt shops near me and I love to see and touch the fabric in person. If I had no quilt shops near me I'd probably do a lot of fabric shopping on line. My favorite site is BatiksPlus.

The best place I have found for fat quarters is this little shop in Tennesee.Their fat quarters are only $1.00 each and free shipping!! Or it was on what I ordered and they even added in an extra one. Really nice fabric also.I've only bought FQ's but am sure they have other fabric too. Here's their website.

the only place i have ever bought fabric on line is from QIAD, other wise i either go to the quilt store down the street or stop at hobby lobby or hancocks. i want to feel the fabric before i buy. but since i trust QIAD i ordered some from them and was so pleased.

I have to buy all my fabric online as there is no quilt shop close to me. I have bought from Fast Threads, Christa Quilts, Hancocks of Paducah, Heartbreak Quilts and Vintage & Vogue.
