Quilt in a Day Forums

I was thinking of 5 inch blocks so we could use all the patterns out there that call for that size. Also, we could cut them down to 2 1/2 inches if we wanted for other patterns, too.

I was thinking of a cut off date of July 27 for sign ups. Date for getting charms to me, how about August 13. I'd do it sooner but if we close on teh OH house, I might be there the first two weeks in August.

What do you think? Should we have a max or just see how many sign up? Also, should we each use one fabric so we all get the same thing or just go with scrappy?

This is my first time heading up a swap so remind me if I forgot anything.

I say scrappy - that way you could get rid of those little nagging pieces that want you to do something to them!

I would love to be included. Please put me on your list! The 5 inch squares would be great to make a scrappy thimble quilt. So many ideas.

It sounds like we'll do 5 inch squares with a scrappy theme. No particular colors or holiday, it'll be truely scrappy! This really will be fun!
