Lyn - no its not on auto. Matt supposedly programmed the times for us, but it's not behaving. Matt will be back. We'll get there! Thanks for the heads up.

Good morning. Remember when I was saying it's too hot outside? Well now it's too wet and windy, ha ha. Actually, I really love this weather.
These new windows are really amazing, I don't hear much of anything outside but can see it all clearly. I'm going to hold off on window coverings for now and focus on the opening under my microwave. I have a space that is 24 inches wide and 39 inches tall. That doesn't take into account the undermount drawer slides. So I need to figure out how deep I want each drawer, and they don't have to be the same.
Lois, yay for Olivia coming to cut your hair. I stand over the bathroom waste basket with scissors and cut my bangs so they are out of my eyes, then, if I need a real hair cut I go to great clips. It might be sort of fun trying new recipes. Thinking of what to have for dinner can be frustrating, but I'm hoping you will find it fun.
Maryz, Enjoy your trip. hope it's very relaxing. I agree, Elliott is going to nap only if he wants to. But I will try to wear him out and see if that works. I will likely be asleep long before he is. They are new parents and have the entire internet at their service, what's a grandma to do but go with the flow.
Jana, it snowed in my county too, thankfully it's all on the mountain in front of my house and also on the other side. I won't be traveling up the hill for anything. It's pretty from here so I will stay right here. Keep an eye on that smart thermostat. Did you ever see the movie Smart House, I think it was Disney.
Diane, prayers said for your nephew.
Maryq, gosh I wish I was there to help with that closet cleanout. I'd have so much fun. I love that kind of thing. Every time you say you have something like a book or jelly rolls or whatever I am tempted but really don't need more. Happy closet cleaning, hope you have lots of space in there when you are all done.
Lyn, so glad those snot makers have been evicted. I also set my thermostat and leave it set. I adjust it if necessary. Hoping Garry is a bit more hungry for his lunch today than he was yesterday. I guess if you aren't up burning calories, you don't need a lot of fuel for the body. And, according to my son, if you fidget you burn calories. I think Garry's trying to kick the nurse can be considered fidgeting, ha ha.
Judi, your dust analogy made me laugh. I've always heard that dust isn't really dust but a furniture protector. I like your explanation much better than mine. I know Valerie was taking some time off because of her eyes. I'm hoping Lori is knee deep in her kitchen remodel. But wasn't she planning on going to a sewing retreat?
Dinner last night was spaghetti sauce on frozen low carb ravioli. Guess I don't have to buy those again. The carb count that I misread was for a serving of 7 ravioli. Who only eats 7? That's not even an appetizer.
Tonight I am having steak. And I think I will thaw some frozen cauliflower and turn it into potato salad. Might even add some broccoli and call that dinner.
But first a shower and breakfast. You all have a warm cozy day, I sure will.
