My afternoon post, LOL!

Sarah was just down. Joseph's aunt and uncle need to borrow our metal portable wheelchair ramp for a few days. They have a son, diagnosed with a stage 4 cancer, confined to a wheelchair and he and his family are coming to the parents house for Thanksgiving. We share this ramp many times with friends. We bought it to get Mr G's dad in and out of our house here.

So with that, Sarah talked to our cardiologist and they scheduled the first open date for thecath lab and angiogram. December 17th at 7am. We are also on a waiting list if there's a opening sooner. We need to get blood work done . They are planning the option of a stent, but haven't fully committed to that yet. It's a wait and see, what they see with the angiogram. Adding the stent will add about 45 minutes in time. It's a out patient and no hospital stay, maybe. Told us to bring some things for a just in case we keep him.

Aaron called on his way home from the new job. Part in the office, part a his home office. Everything is all lined up for his graduation in the spring. 2 classes and a senior project or internship. A professor is looking into using Aaron's new job, to count as the internship. It's in the field of his degree. Hopefully it will work out. I smile at this boy, he didn't graduate from high school, got a GED, then graduated from Utah Valley University, and now added a second degree from Utah State.

I am pretty excited here - I finally got a date for my hip replacement - Dec 9th. Pre-op appt w/CT scan and XR's on Dec 4th, and post op appts Dec 19 and Feb 4. Whoo Hoo! It's happening!

Also, I finished my table runner. Just need to tack down the hanging sleeve I added to it because this year, anyway, it's going on the wall. We got 6 more scrapbook pages done (11 more to go) before Bill and L&L went out to the woodpile. My soup is simmering away in the crock pot, salad is made, hip exercises are done, and Scottie is resting. And it's not even 2:30 yet! Now I'm going to go through my library for a few more audio books to download.

JANA - what a heady rush to be you - both inside and outside all cleaned up and looking purrfect! At the same time!! Sending good thoughts and prayers to Mr. G. Congrats to your Aaron!

Well, if I type anymore here I won't have anything to say tomorrow morning so I'm going away now.

Maryz, yay! That's a good day. It was my mom's birthday. You'll have a new hip for Christmas and the New Year. Wow...that's a lot of wood to split and stack.

Jana, good news for Mr. G. Things are moving along. Good for Aaron. It's nice to have a yard that's tidied up.

Judi, I remember watching Paula Dean make that pudding on her show years ago. Yummy.

Valerie, glad you are getting back into the swing of things. You were out of your normal for quite a while. It's will take some time to get back to it.

Maryq, yes, the stove has been fixed. No more leak. It was two small leaks in the line. This stove doesn't have a pilot light. They are electric now.

Lyn, will the RV park be closer than your home? How far is the rehab place? I bet Minnie is a big life saver. Our furry friends carry us through tough times.

Flo, you new baby sure is cute. Hope she fits in with everyone.

Chriss, how's you dad doing? Better I hope.

I had an appointment with the attorney today. They I did some errands on the way home. I need to head up the street to do a few things, then home. It's just starting to rain and it's a bit cold. I did get the gas leak fixed. It's a crazy mess up the street because I have the same problem focusing on things up there as I do here. I really should make a list and stick to it. I've gone though 10 boxes of Christmas stuff and there still more. Ugh! I have some more embroidery to do on my mitten project. It's almost done. I'm waiting on an embroidery hoop to put it in. It should be here next week. Then I'll send it off to my niece for her birthday.
