Good morning,

I'm early but you know me sometimes I don't sleep right start thinking about stuff and now I'm up I've been up since 3:30 well I might just power down in the afternoon and try and take a cat 🐈 nap.
Yesterday afternoon I called grace frame again now I'm having trouble with my bobbin thread you know when you get ready to quilt and the needle goes into the quilt to pull up your bobbin thread well it won't come up it gets caught so I tried to explain it to the tec and he was lost  well I'm doing my own sort of like detective work I ask about the bobbin back lash because mine has a sort of like bend in it so I sent a picture and now I have to wait till they come in the mail I told him to send a couple of extra ones  .
So now that was an interesting afternoon  .
Today we have to make a BJ's run then I will come home and work on the flamingos.
Mary z you asked me what goodies I got well it was fabric to make the flamingos quilt also some fabric for the snowman and some more reds.

It is so nice to see some of our group coming back I wish Cindy would catch the bug and come back and Kathy also.

Well that's it for me everyone have a nice day.
Prayers go out to all.
Lois

Good morning, It is still dark here and Lois sorry your not sleeping well, I have used sound apps to lull me to sleep if I have those racing thoughts, Rain or waves or just nature sounds,,,works for me.
I did get a little done on the quilt but was distracted by a book Im listening to and I messed up. ( with a kit this can be bad) but it was a forgot to include a piece and had to Rip 2 blocks and fix them...I will put music on next time im sewing and listen to the book when Im not putting together a lot of pieces.
Chris I have been thinking of you since 530am my time and asking God to bless you with successful surgery today, Also for FLo's son that his port replacement goes well...and also for Diane who will have her second surgery today to remove cancerous cells...may she have clear margins,,,I ask for healing to all others who ar e dealing with personal financial heath and stressful situations ,
Today I need to go to the dairy store and get milk, to the credit union, and to the pharmacy then home today I will put on a pot of chicken noodle soup for supper. That is my plan, hope all your plans are fun ones...XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Good morning,

CHRISS - you know we're all thinking of you! God bless you and your surgeon and nurses. We'll be waiting for news.

DIANE - wishing you too, a good day in the OR. I pray all goes well and you come back "clean".

FLO - Praying for the same for your DS.

JUDI - some days we have to just turn our backs on our sewing and catch up with the rest of life. Chicken noodle sounds good. I have homemade turkey rice soup in the freezer. I'm going to pull it out for supper on the next cool day.

LYN - I hope your recall work gets done quickly and correctly. But this is helping you decide your next move?

LORI - not sure what you mean by needing to get your server out to make your clothing. But enjoy!!

VAL - got your DBIL on the prayer list. I hope you don't have to make a fast trip to Vegas.

LOIS - You found some great stuff on your little trip! I hope the problem you are having with your frame is minimal and fixes easily.

JANA - sounds like a big picture project. I'm not very good at that stuff so I'm going to give you a tip - don't ask me to help! You would be sorry.

TINA B - I hope you get a sewing room soon,

JOAN - happy anniversary!! Enjoy that special supper together. Praying your echo comes out clean!

TINA - glad you are back to walking. I've been walking for nearly 30 years now. Some days I'm tempted to quit, especially now that arthritis is my constant companion. But I know I need it now more than ever. So Scottie and I plug along. He's also pretty arthritic now.

I gave Lee his QOV last night. He LOVED it! I'll post a photo. We have Supper club coming here tonite and we are making a taco bar. Between y'all and me, I'm not feeling it, but will push through. I haven't slept hardly at all for over a week. Pain is keeping me awake. I wander the house looking for a comfy spot to grab a few winks. I keep the cat guessing. He follows me around and waits for me to settle someplace.
Still working on my pods. Soon - in a few days - I'll have them all done and ready to go.

Praying hard for all our "patients" here. May God keep you safe!

Good morning!

Seems as if none of us could sleep last night. I was awake more than asleep. Nap will definitely happen. Even sounds like Judi suggested didn't work. We had the window open slightly, and it let in all the rain sound. Only it wasn't a soft gentle rain, but bucket downpours! With a light show and thunder! Sky is now clearing, maybe a few more raindrops today.

Many many prayers this morning. It's all turned over and in His hands.

Not much here. I finally got all the pictures down and ready to sort. Daniel helped get the big heavy boards turned where I could work. He also took the picture frames over to paint. He has a new job possibility on the horizon. There's a company that has two offices, one here in SLC, that is literally getting rid of a bunch of employees that aren't doing their job, causing this office to lose money. So the principal, lead in the office, is a friend of Daniel and wants to bring Daniel in to be second in charge of this office. Now the funny in all this, is the man that mentored Daniel many years ago, when Daniel started, semi works, retired up in the other office and doesn't know anything about bringing Daniel in to the company. Daniel's mentor keeps in touch with Daniel and they are great friends. If this job happens, the mentor will be quite surprised and happy. And it's quite a nice increase in salary. Daniel seems happy at this prospect.

Time to get dressed and ready up something to eat,

Hugs, and awaiting word,

Jana

Sunny morning, afternoon showers and high of 66Β°.

Chriss, Diane, Joan, Flo's son, Praying for each of you, the Drs and nurses. God surround each one with your Angels. The Bible verse that came up on my phone this morning.
Philippians 4:19
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Lois, Hope you get the machine working right soon.

MaryZ, I think Lori might have meant Serger, but I'm only guessing.

I went down the Mtn to get a few other things out of the MH yesterday. Transwest called before I got there and said the tech had taken a kit off a new MH on the lot and had the Bay doors fixed. But, the floor heat has a broken wire and parts will be a couple weeks, if we want it fixed. We can live without that luxury of warm tile floor on a cold morning, but I'm trying to keep the Coach in good condition if it needs to be sold. So, a few more $$$$ will be spent.

I have no idea what direction I'm going today. The plumber had to cancel yesterday, he should be here at noon today. GD Kaylyn just arrived and has started laundry.

Sending up prayers for all.
Lyn

Thinking of Chriss this morning. Hope all is going well.

Maryz, I guess I should have proof read my post. I need to get my serger out. Love the quilt and reaction of your SIL.

Lyn, yes, I meant serger but I guess it auto corrected for me. Stupid computer.

Jana, I would love to hear rain. It will be a few more months here before that happens.

Diane, hope all goes well today.

Lois, hope you can get the machine fixed and trouble free. It's frustrating explaining things to people who don't understand.

Judi, it must be a pretty good book to distract you while you're sewing.

Flo, hope your son does well in his procedure today.

I started making witches hats for my "Bewitched" quilt. It's been cut out for a few years. I have 4 done and need 9. I should get those finished up today. I need a new wand vacuum, so I might head to Costco for that today also. Not sure what we'll have for dinner.

Have a wonderful day.

Good morning, ladies on the fly by this morning. Got a few more chores done had to go get a few groceries, just to make sure we make it through for the next week. Add my morning talk with the brother in law. He's going at noon to have his colonoscopy. He said they have draw on another lap, but they didn't tell him what the results were. Said the prep made him sick and he ended up vomiting three times so i'm hoping he's cleared out.Enough to at least figure out what's going on.

I'm sorry you all did not sleep well last night because I finally slept pretty much all night. Didn't even get up to potty.

Boy, there is a lot going on here. Prayers for all in need, try not to worry about chriss today, gotta have faith that it's a good doctor and he knows what he's doing.

The groceries are put away and my stuff is packed up for the day. Going to open so and then slow stitch. I will be heading out the door as soon as I get all this hair brushed.

Hope everyone has a good day and we hear from all the doctors soon that all are well.

Good Morning Girls

am a little late to the party this morning----I did sleep a little longer than my usual 0800 wake up call, and actually slept 5 hours straight last night---which is quite rare for me. I've been kind of glued to the computer this morning --catching up on the awful news from yesterday here in Minneapolis. I can imagine no pain greater than losing a child---as some of you may have experienced as well. Like the rest of country, my thoughts and prayers are with those families.

Lois....Don't you hate that when your brain just won't shut down at night? Sometimes, with so many of us having trouble sleeping, you wonder if there just isn't something in the air---or is it just our age. Hope you are able to get your Gracie all fixed up soon---you're probably anxious to get a few things quilted!!!

Judi..... That's one reason I can't do audio books.... Either I would not pay attention to what I am doing or I could not be paying attention to the book. I have thought of trying it whilst I actually sew, but I have to kind of hear my machine, especially the embroidery one, in case something goes wrong. Sorry you had to rip out things tho---it's almost a daily occurrence here!

Diane.... Sending prayers your way as.... the waiting for results, I'm guessing is going to be the worst part of you. You will happy to know that I have my mammo tomorrow morning and will think of you the whole time!! Thank you for the reminder!

Flo.... Hope all goes well for your son this morning too. Since they don't keep folks in the hospital over night much anymore, I'm guessing he'll be home tonight?

Maryz... So sorry to hear that you are still in so much pain! Maybe ask for some of the "good stuff" to help you make it through the night? Any word on when you can get the cortisone shot? Hope you are able to sneak in a little nap before your guests arrive.

Jana.... Hope Daniel's opportunity works out for him!

Lyn.... You don't know which direction you are going this morning? We must be sisters!! I've been wandering around all morning trying to decide which project to pick up next. The biggest decision at the moment is---do I want to run down to the kids house and take Zara out for a walk. She's stuck in the house all day now that the kids are at college! But then there are various sewing projects awaiting my attention too! Oh and maybe a little dust here and there.

Lori.... Ok, I'm chuckling at your Witches Hat being cut out for a few years! Guess I have another sister, as I found a Christmas kit in my closet from a couple years ago. I forgot that it had a long of hand embroidery on it---so now I have a TV project as well!!

Joan.... Nice to see you peek in!!! Prayers for your procedure this morning!!

Guess I better get going .... If I don't get up NOW and go take Zara for a little walk (I can't walk too far without pain) I'll never get my butt out of the house!!

Prayers definitely all around this morning. If I hear anything from Chriss's son, I'll come post an update ASAP. 2 hour time difference from CA to MN.

See y'all later
