It would probably be cheaper to mail in a 9x11 manilla envelope.

Maryz I use pirate ship and they are always cheaper. I have been using them for years and had no problem. Here is a link if you want to check them out.

HI Girls

I have a thought about return postage... If you'd like your blocks to come back to you in a Flat Rate Envelope---go ahead and include the required postage. If you'd like me to cheaper, in a regular envelope---I have plenty of those. (I have a drawer full of vinyl envelopes) I do have Venmo and Paypal to reimburse me for postage after I get the blocks in the mail and know they exact cost. Packages would still have tracking numbers.

Just a thought.

VINAE, sorry to hear you've been sick. I hope it was nothing serious and that you will be back in the pink again soon. No rush on mailing those blocks. We have lots of time yet.

LORI - great that you've got your trees cut out. Can't wait to see a finished block!

Merry Q is back in town! Yay! And as soon as she arrived back home I popped my blocks into the mail to her. And just FYI, I mailed two sets of blocks in a large manilla envelope and it cost $11.00 And they said they would take about 4 days. Not much difference than a padded Priority envelope.

How is everyone else doing?

I mailed a padded priority package (unrelated to the swap) today, and it was $10.50. I print my labels at home. I don't know if that makes a difference.

LORI, the USPS website says that if you print your labels at home, the padded envelope postage is $10.50. If you take it to the post office it's $11.95. I saved nothing by using a manilla envelope. :(
