It warmed up here, to 22, but we will get the Maryq deep freeze...she a;ways graciously sends her weather our way. Maryq I did have a few glitches with my Carrie Nation quilt but it is by far one of my favorites that I use when watching tv each night. I would advise you not to try the country road quilt...it is glitchier than CNQ.
Ken went up to the store and bought a new modem...which meant an installation and changing of all the passwords..I think my lap top is running better now but we shall see...
Lyn both those recipes are deliciousI make the Quessadillas all the time but willl be doing the pork chop one soon,,,I have pork chops in the freezer to use.
Val I have made several yoyo quilts and like maryz's daughter my DD has mine on her couch as we speak...and my other yoyo quilt went by way of my grand daughter,,,because I am sewing the yoyos together with out the quilt parts into a coverlet I just may get to keep it,,,Sewing them is portable and easy with a yoyo maker and I use charms which I have hundreds. But I hear you on the projects that need to be done.
Tina Plans are like the weather always subject to change...but I did clean a bathroom and will sew the rest of the day away,
Chris I am in the sewing room and I hope you are too How did your day with the new grandbaby go?
Back to sewing xxxxxxxxxxooooooooo

Must have received a mind transfer from Maryz, decided my tiny kitchen needs cleaned. 3 counters done. Just a few dishes and one more counter. Taking a break from the sewing before I throw it out the window.

MaryQ, You should try canned chicken, it comes out of the can just like tuna, but it's chicken.
The chicken is packed in a little bit of liquid that I usually drain off unless I'm making soup, then I pour it in, too. I will tell you Not to buy canned chicken in Canada!! It is weird, few pieces of chicken and mostly like a gelatin around the pieces of chicken.
MaryZ, Good for you that Bill cleans up after himself. Garry would just give me a dirty look and say I'm bitching again and walk away.

I used the canned chicken from Costco. It very good. I do a chicken and rice dish with it. Cooked rice, mayo, cream of chicken soup, celery and water chestnuts. And a sprinkling of lemon juice. Don't use miracle whip, changes the flavor all wrong. Too sweet.
Snowing over on the mountains and we warmed to 25. Mr G misplaced his sock helper getter on tool today.. A new way of life here.

Maryz, Hope Autumn is feeling better today. I've only used canned chicken once in my lifetime. It's not my thing. I cook chicken and freeze it for later if I have extras. I don't do a lot of canned anything. Glad Bill made the right choice to wash the glass. lol Sounds like the class was a success. No I haven't been working on dad's house at all. I've just been spending my time sitting with him instead.
Jana, our credit card gets hacked about every 2 years. It's so frustrating. Wells Fargo is really good about taking care of the problem and also notifying us.
Valerie, bummer about the phone. We were traveling to Utah a few years ago and I had my phone on the console between the front seats. Wrigley jumped up landing on my phone and must have hit something. It started to erase all the data in the phone and I couldn't stop it. I had to have it restored when we got to Utah. Silly dog. Glad you got some sewing time in yesterday.
Tina, Jasmine rice is my favorite.
Maryq, I'm sure you'll finish up the CN in no time.
Lyn, Quesadillas are my go to easy lunch. I usually just use cheese and jalapenos.
Chriss, how was Mexican bingo? Did you win anything? I'm making the entire Vets quilt. I'm using a star pattern on point. Red in the center and corners and R/W/B fabric around the middle.
We went to the park this morning. Then I came home and made French toast and bacon. It was very yummy. I've been to see dad. He's okay, not great. I'm going to go finish putting the vet quilt top together now. Dinner will be leftover soup. Have a lovely evening.
