Good morning sunny and beautiful day.
I had the most wonderful birthday,,,all my kids, most of my grandkids, and my 3 little great grands were over to help me celebrate with pizza and salad and fun. They asked me to make a wish and I told them it had already come true...I am blessed with a great family...<3 I got flowers and mums. ken swears he will water them while i am gone...I will remind him..I also got lottery tickets and won $45
on them. Today I will go to the store and get a couple of things...I ordered a long shoe horn ( who knew they still made them) It is hard for me to get my one show on and it will be even harder. funny the last minute things you think of..Hope you all have a great weekend...and safe travels for those on the road..Prayers for all who need them

Good morning
Judi, I am glad you had such a wonderful birthday. Your kids could not have done anything better for you. Any mom would love the celebration with children
We have a very sick dog. Coming from both ends now. It has been a rough week and we are looking up an emergency vet this morning. He has an appointment on Tuesday at Home but thinking he needs a doctor sooner.

JUDI Sounds like a wonderful birthday for you. Great for everyone to have good memories of the time with you.
MARYZ- I hope you are able to get help for your dog asap. Could she eaten something from the outside? My DD dog got sick and they found she was eating pebbles from the yard. UGH!!
LOIS- I make a list for the stores and either leave without it or forget where I put in. So welcome to my club of "oh well"
Joe did not do very well with his 3rd treatment. From what we read its his body reacting to the BCG. Unfortunately he has 3 more weekly treatments to go thru.

Good morning Girls
Yeah... it's COOL this morning, Just had a little thunderstorm pass through and it's cooled the place down a bit. Now I'm just waiting for the sun to come back out and brighten up the day a little bit. I have some errands to run and don't want to have to dodge rain drops!!
Judi... Sounds like you had a great time celebrating your birthday! How fun to have the kids and grands and GREAT grands all there. If you think of anything you need while you are at re-hab... Amazon will deliver just about any place.. you can order and have it sent right to the rehab place.
Maryz... Oh so sorry to hear Scottie isn't feeling so good. Hope you are able to get in him to a Vet today!!!
Lois...I always have a grocery list all written out, but I can't tell you how many times I've forgotten it or lost it!!! I've decided I'm going to start putting it on my phone. I can tell Alexa to make me a shopping list and then when I go to the store it will be right there on my phone!! Gotta love technology!
Diane... Sorry to hear Joe isn't feeling so hot. Just three more treatments? I'll send some special prayers that he feels better to get through those last treatments.
All the rest of you must up getting up and getting busy this morning. I'm about to grab some more coffee and jump in the shower. Kris painted my bathroom for me yesterday, so I'm going to run to Home Depot and Check out new toilets for both bathrooms and then to WM to pick up just a few things (that I forgot on my last trip to Target) Might wander through the fabric department and check it out as they are closing out all the bolt fabric--just to see what's left
After I get home I may just go out to the garage and clean up some messes and see what trouble I can get into out there!
Wishing you all a Super Saturday

Re: saturday September 21, 2024
I hope my battery holds out!
Up early and made several batches of doughnuts for the Ward guys that are coming to help Sandee move stuff for her. This will be a big help before Becky and Tommy move back. I just cheated, started on my phone, posted that and then Mr G got my tablet, so I am now on that, using the edit button. Sometimes I think I'm smarter than the average bear! But then husband reminded........
Daniel will be between both houses. Working on the deck. He got the drywall up at Sandee's this week, so he can start the kitchenette in the basement for Tommy. My deck will be done probably next weekend.
Mr G is sweeping up my doughnut mess. He does have some redeeming qualities!
Earlier this week I was wondering. So not much more around here. A bit of sewing and a nap later!
Judi - knew it would be agreat memory for you! And you won money too!
Maryz - oh I hope Scottie gets better quickly! We worry about all the furballs here!
Well, time to scoot, if you get here soon, there's doughnuts- chocolate glazed, with and without sprinkles, cinnamon sugar, and plain doughnut holes. They are what's called, farmstyle or cake as I know them. I have milk, bring your own coffee,
Hugs,
Jana

Good morning. It's going to be a great day today. We will be on a warming trend through next week but will be just below triple digits which is a marvelous thing.
Yesterday I finished cleaning the walls in the breezeway and did very little work in the spare room. I was also able to finish up the receiving blankets. I made 4 using the MSQC self binding baby blanket. The first one is sewn kind of funky but will still work. They really are a simple thing to make.
My parents came over yesterday and will be here again today. Dad worked, and I took my stepmom for a ride into town to get her out of his hair. After we came back, she, moose and I walked down to get the mail.
Today, I hope to finally mop that kitchen floor. If I'd go do it right now it would take about 5 minutes. but I will get to it later.
O'Dorothy, glad you have fond memories of your DIL. I will let my kids know that all this baby stiff gets easier with the second and third one, wonder if they will take that hint?
Judi, woo hoo, $45. What will you spend your fortune on. I just envy you with your family. you are truly very blessed. Glad you had a good birthday.
Maryz, hoping you get your dog fixed soon. Wonder what he got into?
Lois, sitting on the deck sounds so peaceful. The last thing on my todo list is my decking. I can sit out there now but would love a do over. Hope yours is a beautiful as I imagine it in my mind.
Diane, that dog eating pebbles makes "passing a stone" have a whole new meaning. glad DH is doing well.
Maryq, I'd like to go to home depot today, I'll be in the window shade section. And WM might be in my travels as well. Maybe I'll see you.
Jana, as wonderful those donuts must be I am going to pass. So nice that Sandee has help moving things, and the cost to her is donuts made by you. She's in a good spot. Glad Michael is earning his keep. I think you should keep him.
Sharona, sure would be nice if you'd set one more place at that breakfast table for me.
the next baby doctor appointment is on Monday. My son reports that things are improving and they are doing better. I pray this baby shows a weight increase at the next appointment so they can all exhale. You and I both know that this is only the beginning. Wait until he bumps his head as he falls trying to take a step or two. Or scrapes his knees as he falls off of his bike. I'm looking forward to seeing their thoughts and attitudes change as he grows up. I believe they will evolve wonderfully. instead of being overprotective, nervous, anxious parents they will settle into a calmer mode of thinking. It will be fun to see that happen.
I have bacon all thawed out, I think I will cook it up and have a couple of eggs to go with it. I do need to travel to the grocery store, I'm out of lettuce.
You girls have a marvelous day.
