Val, my blocks are on the way. They should be there by Friday.

May block is beautiful. Kind of reminiscent for me. When we were first married I made two pillows with that pattern and hand quilted it. My first attempt at hand quilting and my DH Grandmother said “Awch those stitches are toe nail catchers” I took it out many times and got better. I liked her and really regret I could not spend more time with her quilting and especially hand quilting. I have her old quilting frame long boards on horses.
Thanks for trip down memory lane. Just saw Alex Anderson has new hand quilting book out,, I have her first one she was much younger on the cover, I was younger too.

Thanks Val. I only used 3 pins to sew them. One in the center, then as I used a glue stick on the seam, I put one on each end to keep it straight. Super easy because the seam stays in place.
