Kayla's Quilt
Here's the quilt for Kayla.. Her puppy completely chewed up the one I made her before, so Dad said she needed a new one. I'm happy to oblige. The backing will be a small black/white check--that was in my stash. Now that Kayla has her own home, her colors, were grays and neutrals and as luck would have it, I had a black/white/gray jelly roll in my collection. The pattern is from a MSQ Book magazine, tho I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head!
PS.... see that quilt rack in the background... My Dad made that... he actually made one for each of us kids!
PPS... The Quilt Pattern is called "Peace Out" It is in a MSQ Block magazine.. Fall Volume 5 issue 3 (or vice versa) from 2016. There's a couple other jelly roll patterns in that same book.

Hey, wait a minute, isn't Kayla about 12 years old? How can she have her own place. I was shocked to read that.
The quilt is perfect, she will just love it. it's a great pattern.

Mary, you did a beautiful job on this beautiful pattern, with those beautiful fabrics! Kayla will love it! Does this pattern have a name? Or can you give us the Issue? I have all the MSQC Idea Books (magazines?). And yes, we all want to see Dad's handiwork. Show us that quilt rack!
