SUPPER CLUB - Tuesday, Nov 14th

Post by purrfect-lady » Tue Nov 14, 2023 4:46 am

Good morning,

We are in! Off the road! Done traveling! At least for the next 6 weeks. This morning we're going to clean the trailer, which will be my little surprise activity to Bill, then we'll go pick up our curbside grocery order, and wait for my sister to arrive for the week, and then AMARA and her entourage! It's going to be a great day!

BECCA - I'm so sorry you've been confined for so long! To not be able to walk around outside on the grounds is ridiculous, as long as you're careful going through any indoor common areas. But I'm glad your isolation is over. When is Frankie coming to town?? I do hope you get to see her! She is getting close to 8 months old!

LORI - your embroidery quilt sounds pretty. I'm assuming it's machine embroidery? I don't do mach emb so I"m kind of in the dark about it. Have fun at your spa/winery outing! I know you'll have a good time.

The kids are coming for happy hour so we have wine plus green olives, mixed nuts, and sharp cheddar cheese & crackers. Plus we have a block of Swiss cheese with mustard, a favorite of Antonio's. I have frozen lasagna for supper and if the kids stay for that then my sis and dbil are on their own for supper (those lasaganas aren't very big). But if the kids don't stay then Al & Tina can share with us. Guess we'll play it by ear. We have no idea what time anyone is arriving.

Do you have any ideas yet about your supper tonite?

Good morning all sun 🌞
Mary, glad you arrived safe and sound. I bet you are over the moon excited! I'd have a hard time containing myself!
I'm working on my Nov lotto blocks and hope to finish them up and then I need to do some straightening up before I go back to Christmas quilts....I have a mess in there.
I think supper will be Philly steak and cheese sandwiches and possibly onion rings.
Tina

Mary, so glad you are settled for a while. The embroidery is by hand. It's a wall hanging, so I'm sure they are small patterns. I don't do machine embroidery.

Tina, I might do a few more blocks when I get back. I really like all the November blocks.

I'm off to wine country. A couple days of fun.

Not sure what dinner will be.

Have a lovely day.

Good Evening,

I took the day off from quilting and yard work for a day at Disneyland. I actually came home early and then just relaxed the rest of the day. I worked on binding a little after dinner. Dinner was Linguini and Sauce with a side salad.

Maryz - Glad you are finally going to hold, hug and kiss Amara. I am sure you are going to be glad to see Autumn, Antonio and you sister. Have Fun!!

Tina - Hope you straightened up and are happily working on the Christmas quilts.

Lori - Have fun at the winery/spa!

Carol
