SUPPER CLUB - Saturday, Sept 23rd

Good morning,

Yesterday was a hodge podge of things - laundry, firewood, yardwork, meeting with furnace guy, sewing, and dinner with friends. But today - as far as I know - it's going to be all sewing!

BECCA - I would love to visit your Treasure Chest. Did you find any yesterday? Treasures, I mean. What picture are you painting now?

TINA - I bet your new table will see a lot of fun family times! Will you leave it set up with leaf in or just add the leaf when you need more than 6 seats? We have 2 leaves but we slide them under the loveseats when not in use. Though come to think of it - we're planning to get rid of the loveseats next spring. Guess we'll have to find new places to store the table leaves . . . .

Supper tonite is going to be chicken tetrazzini and a salad. Not homemade but frozen.

Mary, did the furnace guy give you sticker shock?
I would8 liked to have found 1 with 2 leafs but I've actually never seen one in a store just online and I have to sit in the chairs to make sure they don't hurt me first. We store our leaf under the spare bed downstairs. We'll keep it at 6 unless we have a bunch. When we sat at it last night for supper it was just us 2 and it reminded me of those movies where 1 sits at 1 end and a long long way away the other sits at the other end we actually sat together, Frankie sets at the end and I'm always right beside him.....I may want to steal something off his plate
Supper tonight will be chicken and rice and peas.

Hello everyone Sunny and beautiful Fall day here I’m being quieter today Because of my leg I think it’s muscle or from My old fall in 2021Im just icing & resting it
Maryz You would have been very disappointed In Treasure Chest They only have Dishes jewelry and a few things I just go to look at Cards They are 25 cents & nice cards
I started a landscape Not my cup of tea but just giving it a try I prefer still life
I saw one this morning I may try Just not asses time while I have to be still
Enjoy your sewing day Im sure it will be productive
Always make sure you store the leaves flat or they will wrap

Tina I too always sat right at CA We had a long table but I never wanted to be at other end Lol I love the part about stealing food lol

Becca, my mom painted landscapes and other things using oil paints. Landscapes were her favorite.

Mary, happy sew day. You sure were a busy bee yesterday.

Tina, I sit next to Bill. It would be funny if I was at the other end of the table. We would be yelling to talk. lol Our table sits 8 with 2 leaves that make it to 12. I have used it and it's wonderful to be able to all sit together.

Well I got my walk in, took dad to the cemetery, made breakfast, and cleaned up the kitchen. I'm heading out to line dancing lessons in a bit. Then when I get home I'll finish up quilting the Ohio star quilt. Maybe even get binding sewn on.

Dinner will be potato ham soup. I stopped at the Honey baked ham store on Thursday and bought a 6 pound ham.
