SUPPER CLUB - Saturday, Feb 11th
Good morning,
Well, my yesterday was certainly full! I finished my Bigfoot top and posted a photo. Went to chiro appt, came home and started cleaning house and threw in some laundry. Met my high school friend for lunch, came home again, cleaned some more, and washed more clothes. By 3:30 it was all done! All the laundry and all the uglies and all the quilt! Then Bill and Tex changed our dinner dance plans to just dinner - at a Mexican restaurant so we didn't go dancing after all. That was OK with me. I was tired. Though they did come back to our house after dinner and stayed until 9:15pm. They are both excellent talkers and they were both in ultra-fine form last night. Bill and I sat, almost mesmerized as our heads swiveled back and forth listening to the two of them. lol!
This morning, since all the chores are done, I guess I'll work on another North Stars block. And then about noon I have to pick up a friend and we're going to an 80th birthday party for a former co-worker. It's a long drive through awful traffic, construction, freeways, etc. I don't want to go but I promised. Plus, after having Covid once, I don't relish the thought of being in a crowded room. Oh well. I might have a good time! I just hate the drive.
CAROL - I love that that sea preservation legislation passed. Now if they can just implement it... I also love your pattern (one of my all time favorites) and your fabrics. It's going to be a beauty of a quilt.
TINA - great to see you at the table!! Glad you are healing. Hope you get out to enjoy the sunny days when they happen. Does Jazmyne cook at all?
BECCA - I'm glad you found a pattern to enjoy working to keep your hands busy. I always have to have something in my lap, even if I'm not actually working on it - it has to be there. Unless Foxy is, of course. Those flower gardens must have been beautiful. What an upper in the middle of winter!
VELDA - we ended up not going dancing last night after all. They guys changed our minds and we just went out for Mexican food instead. Oh well. I Googled Golf fabrics this morning and all kinds of fabrics came up on different sites. So if you don't find any in person you can always shop via computer.
LORI - thank you for your compliment! Carol's block is probably my very favorite one, too. Glad you found everything at Joanns. I actually haven't been in a joann's for over a year. Seems when I go, I never get to use my coupons anyway. And it costs about $8 just to drive to the nearest Joanns in Tacoma between gas and tolls, so I only go if I really need something and we're going to be in Tacoma anyway.
Tonite we have a few leftovers to clean up = chicken pot pie and my leftover Mexican food (chix enchilada and chile relleno). Tomorrow - new food!
What about you?

Good morning everyone!
Mary, your quilt is awesome! He's gonna love it
Sounds like your day was overflowing even without the dancing.
Lori, it is driving me bonkers, which causes me to overdo sometimes.... like last night when I helped the boys with their baths.... after I hardly could put any weight on it. I was really worried. I put an ice pack on it, took ibuprofen and Frankie rubbed vultaran cream on it, thankfully when I woke up it wasn't any worse than before the baths, whew.
I think supper tonight will be simple burritos.

Re: SUPPER CLUB - Saturday, Feb 11th
I am late, I know. Sorry.
I made chili-mac tonight. Two meals for freezer and also one for tomorrow night.
Maryz, yes, I have looked on line for golf theme fabric, but I really hope to find in person. I have plenty of time for scavenger hunt.
Sorry you missed out on the dancing. We had a lot of fun. This coming week, we have two dances. Some weeks is only one dance, sometimes we get an extra event.
I got six adult bibs finished and three more set up to cut out tomorrow after church.
Off to watch some TV with DH. Hope your evening is relaxing.
