Supper Club. Sun Nov 13
Good morning!
29° here in Vancouver morning. This is where Connecting Threads is located, if you ever ordered anything from them.
We’ve never stayed here before but most likely will again. A big new casino with a very nice, paved lot for overnight RV parking. Free – our favorite price. They check you in. And there is security 24/7. And we had deer in a big grassy field outside our back window. We will be staying in free casinos for the next two nights, too. We aren’t gamblers but we often eat in the casino restaurants, though with Covid out and about still, and on our way to Autumn‘s, we are steering clear of contact with anyone on this trip so we’ll be Eating in our trailer.
I am on my phone with dwindling battery so this will be short. Leftover Stew for supper that I froze last week. And cornbread.
What’s your supper story?

Good morning!
We are all moving a bit slow today. Sore muscles from all that bailing yesterday at Sandee's. We did get it all the water out and the floor is now drying with fans stirring the air. Glad we still have about 90 minutes to get ready for church. With our temps, if we had opened the basement windows, we could have had a indoor ice skating rink! We are predicted for even lower overnight temps this next week.
Dinner - probably taco soup. I have all the fixings ready to go. That was planned for dinner last night, but we were up to our ankles in water. Taco Bell was called in.
I am hoping to sew today. I do need to hem a pair of suit pants for our friend. Take won't take long.
Sarah had a huge concert with her school she works for. She had to leave the water party fun and do that. She's in charge of the front, welcoming committee and all the back stage, keeping everyone where they are supposed to be, ready for the orchestra and choir to step on stage. She is very good at that! She has assistants, students, who she is teaching this art too.
Mary - good to stay away from everyone! I saw that California's numbers are on the rise, again. Mask and sanitizer at the gas stations! And get out of Dodge quickly!
Becca - our trees are hanging on to the leaves here. Many trees are breaking under the weight of the snow.
Well, time to get moving,
Hugs,
Jana

Re: Supper Club. Sun Nov 13
Good Evening,
Dinner tonight was leftover Teriyaki Chicken and Rice.
I sewed the challenge together. This year the challenge is to challenge yourself and make something you would not normally make. For me using bright colors and making a modern quilt is a challenge. It is not quilted yet but since you wanted to see what I have been working on, here it is.

I will talk tomorrow.
Carol
