Tina tells me the book I got as a surprise wasn't from my Santa. When I asked Tina who told her that she simply said Santa. Dang thought I could sneak it out of her.

I'm making good progress. I have part of mine put together then thought of something else I wanted to make and then SQUIRREL, I went in a different direction.

Just went to check the mailing deadline. November 23. I'm going to NC before then and perhaps, since I will be staying in a motel, I can bring home the shampoo and shower cap for my elf. Won't that be a treat.

Katy and Maryz, wow, done already? I'm impressed. Mine still needs work. but it will be done soon.

Tina, keep thinking, and if you need any input I am always here with an opinion.

Vinae, wrapping? you are quick. If I am your elf hang on to that package. I'm a shaker and have been known to peek. If I'm not your elf go ahead and send it to its new home.

My goal is to get some real sewing done in between Medicare counseling. Hoping I can get the main project done soon.

Since everyone is checking in,,,I am done with my elfs box just need to wrap it all up and pack it up to mail. I will have to mail it when I get it packed up....If i dont I will open it to put more things in...it always happens. So that is where i stand,,,ready for the fun, right now I am still thinking about what It might need.
Theresa Sorry you caught Covid on vacation,,,,we did too. As soon as we set up camp Hub's said he had a sore throat....and a headache,,,,so he tested and yep he was pos....then I tested positive we too were vaccinated and the whole thing only lasted a few days,,,we were negative by the end of the week..I never really felt sick except for about 24 hours..we were thankful.

Wonderful progress girls. I am expecting to finish my last sewing projects today at Free Sew. I think I only have about 2 - 3 more hours of sewing. Free Sew is 6hrs. Then on to other little trinkets.

I hope to mail no later than 2nd week of November.

Chriss, I'll be sure to keep you in mind when I need an opinion I actually just figured out in my mind anyways how I'll do this next one. I was up from about 4:30 - 6 here in my sewing room. I had fabric to iron and was thinking on this second thing plus adding 1 more thing to the first thing see what not sleeping does to me I did go back to bed because lack of sleep makes me feel ill. Had hot chocolate and my oatmeal and came in here and boom it was figured out! I love it when I plan booms in the right direction!

Judi, yay you're wrapping too! Wow I'm gonna be down to mailing date I think, I still have lots of quilting to do on my projects. I'll be the little engine that does

Izzy, if I'm your elf I'll take a baby cow please or a baby goat would be great too, I think they're both so sweet! I'm right there with you sewing so don't feel alone

Valerie, sounds like you're rounding the corner to the finish line, how cool! We're having cooler weather so I'm taking advantage of a cooler sewing room

33 days till mailing deadline. I'll probably be sending reminders again around the first of November so if you get one and you're already done don't worry about it, it's just that I have a list for contacts for this and most likely everyone will get the reminder.

My package is ready to mail! And I hope I've filled it up with enough goodies to make my elf smile. I might mail it today or I might mail it some other day. Or week. Or month. lol! All I can say for sure is, "Elf! Be on the lookout! It will be coming your way soon!" Bwa haha!
