Good morning,
Yesterday we had a very rainy morning, but our afternoon and evening turned out pretty nice. The weather here is going to dry out and warm up just as we're leaving tomorrow! Wouldn't you know it. But it will be nice where we're going, too. I hope.
Yesterday was mostly a kitchen day. I rearranged - again - the top shelves of my kitchen cabinets - things I seldom use. I found a few more items I could shed which made everything else fit better. Then I made some appetizers to put into trailer freezer for camping happy hours. Finally, I made supper - orange chicken. In between I got 4 loads of laundry done. We had another boondocker last night - a lone guy who didn't arrive until after 8pm. He's leaving this morning. At today's RV park prices, I love being able to provide free parking for nice folks. And so far, all have been nice.
Today is finish packing the trailer fridge, clean the sewing room, take Scottie to groomer, and run a couple other errands. We're leaving tomorrow morning after traffic lets up. I don't know if I'll be able to post or not, but please don't hold up supper for me! I hope someone sets the table. I'll post if/when I can. We'll be home late on June 8th.
JANA - it's so nice that you live so close to all the grands and they can pop in and out like they do. We only have two and they grew up 30 miles away and their parents worked full time. We only got to see them occasionally. I know you treasure what you have!
TINA - I'm glad your mouth if feeling better. No more hot food! I wish you'd get some rain. Thank you for calling Becca.
Becca Update: Early this morning Tina texted me that CA returned her call. Becca is very sick - nearly bed-bound with her TGN, BP, and possibly something else. Tina couldn't remember all he said. She is in a lot of pain, on antibx and a few other meds, and could really use some prayers.
We just realized we forgot to stop the milk delivery and you have to give 24 hrs notice if you change your delivery order. We have 1-1/2 gal in our fridge now and in a few minutes the milkman is going to deliver another 2 gal. We can't use all that nor can we fit it into our trailer fridge. Bill took two half gallons to the "Y" to give away and we'll try to share with friends later today.
Our supper tonite is still a big old question mark. we have little dabs of leftovers in the fridge. But if they go for lunch then we'll have grilled burgers and salad for supper. I think. I never know what Bill is going to want for lunch until I see him eating it. (no, I don't fix him breakfast or lunch. And he doesn't fix it for me, either.) If he goes for a PBJ for lunch, then it's the leftovers for supper. We have to clean the fridge. We have one serving each of orange chix, rice, mashed potatoes, gravy, peas. I'm going to ignore supper for now and let it all sort itself out come 5pm.
I hope your supper is less complicated!

Re: SUPPER CLUB - Monday, May 30th
Good Morning,
Yesterday after Mass then breakfast we went to the garden center to buy tomato plants. Today they will be planted along with some flowers for pots on the front porch. In the afternoon I went for a walk and quilted.
Glad Tina reached out to Becca. Prayers said for her. Sorry to hear she isn't well.
Tina - Glad your mouth is better.
Maryz - Sounds like you have lots to do today to get ready. Scottie will be all ready for the trip. Glad Vickie may get some help. The conditions sound deplorable and not something people should be living in.
Jana - Know you enjoy the time with your grands. It is a treasure.
Today I will finish a quilt. I need to baste the next one. Tonight's dinner will be Turkey Burgers, salad and fries (in the air fryer).
Carol

Good morning!
My little girls will be here shortly. Parents are going to see Top Gun. It's raining here, so it will be a inside playtime.
Uglies are mostly done, Yoohoodi is out doing his chore. Dinner is planned for 5aquitos, rice and beans.
Glad to hear the update on Becca. So sorry she isn't doing well. Many prayers and I am sure that Denise will be there to help.
Mary - enjoy your camping time out. Scotty will need another bath after you get back, from all the camp dirt!
Carol - home grown tomatoes are the best, especially if you like them. Not a favorite of mine, so Sarah grows them for her Dad.
Time to scoot, my termites just arrived!
Hugs,
Jana
