We're 50* and pouring rain. And we'll be pouring rain all day long. A pineapple express, they call it because it's a weather stream coming from the Hawaiian Islands. A good day to stay in and sew something.
Yesterday I put binding on my R/W/B Stars Lotto quilt from last year. It turned out really nice - purrfect for the deck this summer - or for our trip. I like to have a few seasonal things in the trailer. I'm hoping, since today is a lousy day to do anything outside, and our taxes are done, that Bill will be bored and load my Christmas swap quilt next. Only two more after that! Whoo Hoo! Then what will the poor guy do?? He's lucky to have me. Right?
LORI - did that quilt have bits of batting stuffed into the 'windows'? I know my yo-yo quilt is very heavy, and there's no batting in it at all. Is your plumeria project the wall hanging you were working on from your class? that was a beauty for sure! How did the mashed cauliflower turn out? I wonder if Bill would notice if I tried to pass that off as mashed potatoes . . .
MARY ROSE - how was the birthday party? Was it a surprise and if so, was she surprised? You've made a lot of March lotto blocks - you must really want to win those Celtic Twists! I hope you do!
BECCA - OK, so now I guess I'm up to speed. I thought you were able to do steps, but then it sounded like you weren't and I was concerned. I sure hope your treatment works. I've heard so many encouraging things about alternative treatments for joints. Autumn got several bids, too, when they sold their house and ended up $80,000 over asking price. It's a good time to sell, but not so much for buyers!
IRISH - I'm not so sure if I'd be all that happy if my sister brought me half-eaten asparagus.

Tennessee? And what's the story on the TN rumor? I do know what it's like to delve into a cleaning/pitching/orgainzing project, get just so far and finally have to close the door on it and walk away. Arghhh!! Can be overwhelming! Really, wouldn't it work better if we all traded each other's messes?
JANA - congrats on another successful lesson! We all knew you'd be great! Hope all the TV stuff works out. We have a DVR, too, and record our shows. I'm not sure how Bill does it - through the magic of invisible wires, I think

VELDA - Bill did toasted cheese sandwiches in our air fryer/toaster oven, too. They turned out pretty well. He uses it way more than I do.
We had ham last night, and since we're only two people, we'll probably be having ham for many nights to come. I think tonite will be a ham, potatoes, broccoli, cheesy casserole. I need to use up the last of the broccoli. With a salad on the side.
Are you having any supper thoughts yet?
