We have snow. Not too much, but enough to look pretty. I love snow!

JANA - you really had a day yesterday! Sorry, but I'm laughing at your oven story. I know I've done similar things many times. Just a few weeks ago we went off for a few hours of Costco/grocery shopping and came home to find my candle left burning. This is why a rarely burn candles. Fortunately it was in a glass jar and on my glass topped stove. As for the RR in your sewing room, you know he COULD run track along the ceiling . . . .

LORI - your homework project sounds like it's getting more and more interesting!

ROSEBUD - did you find anything to use for template material? Once I dumped out a new box of Cheerios into a juice pitcher so I could cut up the box for templates! lol!

BECCA - I hope the treatment for your knee works well. I've heard good things about it. The story that I just finished reading by Eva Gates about the library in a lighthouse in the Outer Banks of NC - apparently that lighthouse really exists and is still operating. Brodie (or Bodie?) Lighthouse. She just retired it and put a library in it for her story. I learned that when I finished the book at 1:30 this morning. It was a note at the end of the story.

CAROL - my dermatologist recommended CeraVe years ago when I had a fungal infx. Now, along with a couple of Rx's, he's suggesting I use Skinfix designed for hand eczema. It's a bit greasy which I don't like, but it's really helping. I clean my bobbin area often and I oil my machine more often than the machine tells me, but I just got it back from service and they suggest I oil about every 3 bobbins. (I use big bobbins).

Supper last night was sooo good! Chicken cooked in the crockpot like a pot roast with potatoes and carrots. And the good news is we can have it all again tonite! So supper is ready!

I too have lots of Dollie’s from friends & Mom I have hung on to One DGD did take some I made four brides in the family Hankies from my Grandmothers wedding slip It was unbelievable how much work was involved in making just that slip
Jana Congratulations to Aaron on his achievement I know you were so proud Glad you could attend
The reason I won’t get an air frier is because of storage I don’t want it on cabinet & feel it’s foolish at my age
I did my cleaning except hardwood floors

CA wants banned food so I will do that as well as the leftovers we have Becca

Mary, it is such a fun project. Different from anything I've ever done. And the design is all my own creation. I'm loving it.

Today I need to do some cleaning around the house. I spent most of yesterday working on my project. I'm just in the preliminary stages. Here's a picture so far, but I'm sure it will change before it's done. It measures 25 1/2 x 40 1/4 but I may go bigger.

Dinner will be chili tonight.

Good afternoon!

Lori - that is wonderful! And all on your own - great design work.

Not much going on here. Just puttering around the house, cleaning up messes. Michael has totally lost his mind! He is not only cleaning the top of his desk, but reorganizing the inside too. He is finally going through all the stuff from his office desk at work, now after 11 years of it sitting in a packing box. It's mostly pencils, pens, rulers, etc, what he already has in two desks here! He did find in one of the drawers in the upstairs office, our missing stud finder, which means a Christmas present of mine can be installed. It's the display holder from IKEA, to hang my small wall hanging size quilts on. Also found some missing screws to my display garden gate - It's wrought-iron- so it can be put in place. At times there is a very patient streak in me.

I teach on Sunday, so working on my lesson. It will be a interesting Sunday, as our current Bishop is being replaced. Each Bishop serves around five years and ours has been there a bit longer. It is also a missionary speaking, the Bishop's daughter, who is leaving to serve a mission. She was one of my Activity Day girls I taught. She is the fifth one of my girls to go on a mission.

I do have pictures of last night's badge pinning. Aaron was given a borrowed temporary badge atthe ceremony. His is missing somewhere between here and who knows where! It might be here by the time he retires! LOL! Our friend who is a city council member finally put who Aaron is to belonging to us. The room was packed with family of all the new officers getting their badges as well.

The new puppy isn't feeling well - Kate is taking him to the vet today. He's not eating or drinking much, so the vet said to bring him in. His name is Chewbacca- Chewie for short. And he does chew on everything!

Dinner- I am so not in the mood to cook, so will try to talk Michael into out - again. We stopped and got a very tasty hamburger from 5 Guys last night. The store must have gotten a new cook, as these were better than usual.

Becca - so hoping the knee treatment works - and hope CA is doing better. Pecan pie is a favorite here!

Mary - Sarah's dermatologist tells her to use the Eucerin cream in the jar for her dry skin too. She says it works great.

More cold, more snow coming, so it's getting to be normal here.

Hi everyone. Where does the time go? I was here this morning, but nobody had set the table yet. So I waited and forgot to return, sorry. I jumped in with both feet this morning on my sewing. I had three lap quilts pinned and sandwiched, ready for hem. Then I tied all three this afternoon. We were up really late last night, so a nap was necessary for both of us.
Maryz, enjoy your snow! We drove home last night( well our friend was driving, so we rode home) in freezing rain and very slippery roads. We had to drive our car from their rural home into town. We took our time and got home safe and sound. So today we just stayed indoors.
Becca, I hope you lunch meet with BFF was fun. Yummy pie!
Yes, I too have dollies from Mom, grandmother, mother-in-law, Aunt, and my own.
I can't use them all and I really don't have good space to store them. I am still trying to think of ways to repurpose some. Might try to give some away.
My Air Fryer is easy clean up. Drip pan comes out easy to go in dishwasher. Same with basket, wire shelf, and shallow baking tray.
Lori, what a gorgeous project! You have awesome talent. All your own design? Wow!! Thanks for sharing the picture.
Jana, it's fun to find things that have been hiding out of sight. I wonder sometimes, why I put things away and then forget where it was.
Sorry about new puppy being sick. Maybe "Chewy" ate a piece of something. Years back before I married, I had a cute pekinese puppy that got something strange lodged in her throat. I had to let the vet put her down, as it was going to be truly impossible to operate to remove it. I was so broken up over that. It took me many years to get completely over loosing her. But another dog we got after DH and I married, finally melted my heart and I fell in love again. I know you all that have pets know that feeling.
Tonight we will have our leftovers from rotisserie chicken. It will soon be time to set my own table here. I better get busy planning some kind of side dish.
