Ethan and his bread

Here is the picture of the bread Ethan made yesterday. It is the recipe that I have made for years from his Great Grandmother.



He and Grandma had lots of fun sharing the story of the bread pans he used. I used these same pans in 1961, when my mom and I made bread to sell to earn money to help pay for my older brother's mission that he served in Australia. My mom would bake about 20 loaves a day and had standing orders for all of them at a whooping 40 cents each.
