Yesterday was a great day! I enjoyed a visit with a good friend over breakfast, and worked on my Halloween blocks. Then our second Boondockers pulled in - a lovely couple from FL - a retired dr and his wife. We 'clicked' right away. It was their first time using a Boondocker site and except for the folks the night before it was also ours! We invited them up onto our deck for a glass of wine and visited for a while. They brought a bouquet of roses for us!! I think they are off exploring town today. They plan to stay at least one more night and explore the area. We actually have a limit of 2 nights, but that's easily extended if we really like our campers.

I have an appt for a haircut this morning - so long overdue! And then I need to reorganize our back pantry to make room for pickles. After that I will work on Halloween swap blocks. I have them all ready to fuse to the background squares. I might even have time start stitching them down.
JANA - Sorry your knee was giving you fits again. Some folks swear by Arnica cream. I've used it and sometimes it helps and sometimes I see no difference. Depends on the person and on the type/cause of the pain. But worth a try. . . I can't believe all the rain you are getting. And we had about 7 drops 3 days ago. Sigh. Cute little boy at the train shop. Those little vignettes of life always brighten my day,
BECCA - well, I guess now you know what to do when your BP drops too low - reflect on your hospital experiences! But there's simply no excuse for all you have endured. I'm suspecting your hospital choices are limited, too . . . Good luck to your CA today as he gets his tooth pulled.
CAROL - my goodness! you sound busier with meetings about quilting than you are with quilting itself! There used to be a quilting group (I wouldn't call it a guild) in Gig Harbor. They met in the community rooms at the library, though I don't know if the library is even open now after being closed for a year.
I'm thinking of making spaghetti for supper tonite. I start with a jar of sauce and doctor it up and let it simmer for a while. Salad and garlic bread should round out our supper. I MAY make an orange pie, too. We might invite our Boondockers to join us. It's too early to make decisions of that magnitude!

What supper decisions are happening at your house?
