Thank you all for the anniversary good wishes. He's almost through the probationary period so this may just work out!

We had a few more inches of snow yesterday for a total of 12-14" but it will be history soon. It's been raining all night and it's going to be raining for days to come. I bet we can even get out our driveway today except for the berm of snow at the end that the county plows left us. Some snow slid off the RV shelter roof and took the gutter with it, so that will be a project for Bill in better weather.
Yesterday I got my log cabin blocks together. Today - borders and backing. And maybe binding for the reindeer quilt. But I should do laundry, have a chiro appt if we can get out the driveway, and I hope to see a doctor about my ear. I'm also still waiting on the fabric I ordered for my "Get Together" quilt. It's been holding in the "Pending File" until that fabric arrives.
CAROL - congratulations on your Zoom quilt show! I'm sure you are a big part of it's success. Good call on the take-out. Getting home while it's still hot is always a problem for us, too, and we live only 1-3 miles from any restaurant in Gig Harbor.
JANA - what your Michael said about driving in a foot of snow is exactly what my Bill said. Men! They must rehearse in secret! lol! But maybe we can get out today. Hope so. I think the roads are clear. Glad the desk got moved and you can still fit 'just one more thing' into that room! Did you get your winter picnic this weekend? How was the big birthday party last night? It sounded like so much fun! I miss family get-togethers.
BECCA - My plan is definitely to see a doc ASAP. Just not sure who is seeing patients with the pandemic and now with the snowstorm here. Hoodsport always gets a lot more snow than we do, even though it's only about an hour and 15 minutes from us.
TINA - I LOVE organizing! I label everything so I can see at a glance what is where. I would love to come organize your sewing room. Before long, though, you would be kicking me out because I'm told I can get bossy when I get into a project like that.

LORI - I'm with you - When I'm in a swap or lotto, I try to get the blocks together when they arrive. I know what happens if I don't. But if I can't get to them right away, they stay in a labeled Ziplock (God bless the person who invented those!) and they go into the 12x12x3" UFO tote. And that tote stays out in plain sight so I don't forget them or lose them. That tote is empty now, by the way.

We did have to cancel our dinner reservation last night but that was OK. The chicken parm was good and I even did find some parmesan after all! And since we aren't heavy eaters, we have enough left for tonite as well.
How about you? What might you be having for your supper?
