He made it through the night, still can't fly, buzzes his little wings 90 but only goes a couple of inches. I made him fresh warm nectar this morning.

Tina- that is such a pretty humming bird. So nice of you to rescue it. I love humming birds. I put a feeder out at the cabin when I am up there. We get blue/green ones and brown and sometimes red ones.

Our little hummer is doing great today! He went from flutter flying 5" to now about 2'! His mommy is hanging close by ❤ I'm honored to be able to help him ❤

He made a full recovery ❤ we went out just now to check on him and he was ready to go! Frankie opened the cage and out he flew! I watched him till I couldn't see him anymore. I'm so happy he's alright! ❤

Tina how adorable! I’m so glad you were able to rescue the hummingbird! Touching. I love these small birds. We’ve had two living in one of our trees this year. It’s been so fun watching them fly around. We’ve rescued a few sparrows that have fallen in our horse water troughs over the years. Their feathers get so wet they have to dry off.

I told Frankie that rescuing the hummingbird was such a lifetime experience that not many get to experience, I'm so happy that it all turned out for the good. I do have bunches of these little sweeties, I love them! I'm sure he'll be back, I usually get all my babies and adults back every year, it gets a little "international airport" out there at times LOL
