ALL MY GEESE ARE DONE~~

there will actually be 2 sets of 4 geese per person. That way y'all can put together for 1 block or use for spacers between other blocks.

Took me a little to trim 160 geese... but I got 'er done!

Love all the blocks that have been posted so far! What a beautiful quilt this will make!

MARY Q - what a great idea - to leave the geese in strips to use as spacers! I hadn't thought of that!

SUE - I'll be seeing you soon! Like tomorrow soon!

We'll be home from Alaska no later than July 31. Y'all have a great summer and much fun sewing these beautiful Christmas in July blocks!

I'm here, I'm here.
Will MaryQ's geese please fly me to Canada, we leave Sunday.
I have all my pattern, fabric, fusible interfacing and thread in a special tote and it's already in the Motorhome ready for the trip. I had a little trouble locating the light peach thread, for the head, but found it this morning at a favorite QS. Was sad to hear another shop in a nearby town is going out of business... retiring. I didn't visit it often, but it was a nice shop. It's been a hard, long almost 3 weeks here in Colorado. I will be so happy to be 'On The Road Again.' I'm looking forward to Canada, some quiet sewing and fishing time. Just between us, I'm kinda glad the Gkids aren't going this year. There was too much preteen attitude last year.

That's the most colorful geese I have ever seen! Very nice, I can't imagine trimming all those.

MaryQ- I like that idea for your geese strips too. :)
Tina- now the usps says that my blocks are out for delivery today, instead of yesterday when they were supposed to be delivered.

Maryq, great geese, good idea leaving them in strips.

Haven't sewn much, hopefully after church I will get to play in my room.

Maryq, love your geese and the idea of leaving them in 2 strips for fillers!
Lyn, so happy you found your thread and are all set now. I have those thoughts too about grands sometimes, we deserve some alone time here and there ❤

I'm getting ready to go to church this morning. When I get home my plan is to get to the sewing room to work on my stars. Wasn't able to work on them through the week, so today I need to get the pedal to the metal.

See you all later.
