Oh, Vinae!! I hope you’re going to be all right! Bet you have a headache and a toe ache. When you feel up to it, try using your other foot. I had to do that for a while last year and it really wasn’t hard M. But the important thing is rest and heal !

Mary- those gloves look so much like lace. Wow! Great detail on them too. I love those. Very creative!
I am so frustrated that I am hurting too much to sew! I was taking out the trash to the garage and I had on some plastic gardening sandals that are really loose and one slipped partially off as I was going down the 4 steps and my foot slipped off the step and I went down and hit my head on the sharp corner of the railing and my toes were crumpled under as I landed in a heap on the cement floor. Boy, I tell ya, Not only does my head and toe hurt but everything in between hurts. I can hardly move. No bouncing back quick from this when you are in your 60's. Blah! I have a goose egg on my head and my toe is fractured. GRRRR! When I told my hubby what happened, he took those shoes and threw them in the trash! And that is fine with me.
I think I will try sewing with my left foot next week. It will be awkward, but I have done it before. I will rest and recover this week. Looking forward to seeing pics from the rest of you.

Oh my Vinae, so sorry to hear of your injury. Glad DH threw those shoes away! Yes, I agree rest is what you need and maybe a little ice mixed with some heat. Get well

Mary, I love your hats! What a selection! My fave is the black one with pink dots, bottom center.
Vinae, I imagine you are VERY stiff all over. I have discovered that a hot bath with Epsom Salts is a great way to ease those aches and pains. and since you're not doing a whole lot else right now, you have time to take a book into the tub and soak!

Great hats and tea pot. I was planning a hat also but haven’t made a block yet. If I can’t get it to work this weekend I’ll go back to the planning stage
It’s fun to watch the blocks take shape

MaryQ I sure love those hats! They are perfect for our tea party. The hats did it for me....I think I am doing party dresses. You need a party dress to go with the gloves and the hats.
Tina -Love the pouring tea. So cute. Hope all is well in your neck of the world. We have been lucky and didn't get any flu or colds yet. Knock on wood. Sold our motor home, so don't know when we will be able to get together again.
I am just about done cleaning the sewing room before the St. Patty's party Sunday. Now to keep it organized and clean.
Have a great day.
