SUPPER CLUB - Wed, Feb 27
Good morning!
Cold here this morning and possible snow flurries predicted for this afternoon though they won't amount to much. We can take it!
Yesterday I did a little more cleaning - though not too much. I sure don't want to pick up THAT habit! Bill put one of my 30's quilts on the frame so I did a quick meander on that and he loaded another one. I quilted that one, too. Only takes about 45 minutes to meander a quilt that size - about 60"x70". I also took apart the top that I assembled so wrong and reassembled it. It's now ready for quilting, too. Today's plan is to quilt the third 30's quilt, put together the blocks in my LAST UFO and get it ready for the frame, and maybe start making some bindings. Also, Bill will put my Sunbonnet Sue on the frame for me. She will take a lot longer to quilt as she's going to get special treatment from ME! And she's 88"x75".
CHICKIE - so nice to have you here, in person! Hope life settles down for you soon.
BECCA - good to feel the sun on your back, isn't it.
JANA - Sounds like the bride is all about the wedding and has thought little about the marriage. You are earning rubies by keeping your mouth shut, but it must be oh so hard!
supper tonite is going to be something with turkey. It will be something with turkey for several upcoming nights - maybe just a simple reheat, or a pot pie, or hot turkey sandwiches, or stirfry, or enchiladas. So many options!
What are your options for tonite?

Good morning!
We are warm, but oh so cloudy. A rain storm is approaching with rain here in the valley and more snow in the mountains. All the snow in the yard has melted off and my grass looks so forlorn.
I have Ethan this afternoon. Sarah is in Idaho Falls. Meeting with the owners of the sod farm. It was a real mess last year. One of the managers stole over a million dollars in sod sales over several years. Finally caught and now Sarah will be doing the books for the farm. She will no longer be working for the local farm here in town. Just doing grass. She does this from home, the books and all the orders for sod here in Northern Utah. She will also plan and assign all the drivers delivering the sod. Thank goodness for computers!
Me - sewing, uglies and figuring out dinner. Chicken something.
Oops, got to run,
Jana

Good morning! We are cold and yucky here again. Thankfully we completed Mom’s move yesterday and got her settled in her new room. If the sun shines, it’s bright and inviting with full length patio doors overlooking their yard. Hopefully Mom will enjoy it.
I brought home some scraps, and I’m going to sort them and try to do some organizing in my sewing room. I also have odds and ends of batting and stuffing that I want to organize as well. This week will still be kind of mixed up as I’m going in to stay with Mom on Friday; I have a cookie to bake for a grandson’s birthday; we have a luncheon to go to on Saturday. In the middle there is dog walking. I have laundry going here this morning.
I need to get busy, so this is another of those in and out posts. I long for boring days!!!
Dinner tonight… probably the last of the Chinese take out. I need to try to make some banana bread. I can also mix up my cookie dough and have it ready to bake the cookie.
Bon appétit! It’s good to be back here!
