SUPPER CLUB - Friday, Jan 11
Good morning!
Lunch with Autumn & Aaron yesterday was nice. Bittersweet. She and I are both sick with allergies (and neither of us have allergies when in WA) and the restaurant patio, where we were seated, was many decibles beyond LOUD with crowds, metal chairs scraping on cement and a construction crew running heavy equipment right outside our clear plastic tarped wall. But I still treasured every moment. But goodbyes were said and now we're looking forward to Cindy and Don joining us this evening. But she said she is bringing SHRIMP! To camp with me!! Imagine!! CATFOOD!! No wonder I woke up this morning sicker than ever!! Foxy, however, isn't so discerning and he's hoping there will be leftovers!
BECCA - oh no! You Can't be down and out, too!! Your household is now 0 for 2! I hope you're feeling better today. Thanks for checking in.
JANA - I love springy sewing after the holidays are all through. Your tote sounds nice. Chriss is hosting a swap right now, but when it's over, I'm thinking of hosting a floral one because I'm in the mood for flowers!!
IRISH - I'm laughing at the visual you painted of Jake hiding out in his cathouse from the birds! lol! How long will you be in FL this trip? And how is Gin doing? And what a happy surprise to find those quilts your grandfather made! Make sure everyone knows their history - maybe you could make labels for them! What a treasure!
CHICKIE - I'm laughing at your visual, too, of dog yoga! lol! I wonder if Izzy does goat yoga . . . I've never had hot chile rellenos. I'm not sure what kind of chilies restaurants use, but isn't it just the seeds that are hot? I have Hatch chilies in my freezer.
TINA - you've fallen off the computer again!! I guess I'm going to have to come and fetch you! Not an idle threat, girl!
Cindy and Don will be here for 3 nights. At least I believe they are staying 3 nights. Then we'll all leave Monday morning - they going back to Houston and we heading west. As for supper, we've never had the chili rellenos I had planned some days ago so I think that's what I'm going to do for tonite with green salad on the side.

Beautiful Miss Mary....She does look like you, and I had to do a double take, she looks a lot like one of my Sister in law's!
Sorry you have to leave her, but glad you get to head for home.....

Good morning
Mary - didn't know that Autumn had a sister in Texas! Great picture! Now, just watch out with Cindy, bail money may be short right after the holidays.
Not much here. Michael is going over to a Train show with a friend of his that we knew in California. That friend lives here now, up north in the Ogden area. He has had a stroke and doesn't get out as much as he did. So while they are gone I will sew on my new bag. I am tweaking the pattern by adding some pockets that are secure to hold my car keys and phone. My car is one of those new fangled ones that doesn't use a key in the ignition, it just stays in your pocket and if you lose it, it costs a bundle to replace. The doors unlock or lock by touching the handle if the key is near.
Dinner - something simple, maybe tacos or a burrito cassarole recipe I found.
Enjoy,
Jana

Good afternoon from, sun going down, getting chillier and expecting snow, SW. Pa....
I just wanted to stop by and say how much I like your picture, Mary....2 very, very pretty ladies....Sorry you both aren't feeling up to par...Maybe Cindy and Don will be the medicine you need...AND as Jana pointed out, bail money fund might be just a little scarce...BUT, go ahead and have fun!
I've been gone most of the day...Had a Meals on Wheels gals lunch scheduled but only 2 of us showed up...We have some sickies up here also.....Then, I needed to make sure Walmart was doing OK and ended up getting some nice backing fabric that was on sale....Did run into the neighbor that I'd like to have look through my stuff before I go to GoodWill...She said, she'll come over without the girls because she knows they'd want everything....
For my dinner, won't be hungry but did bring 1/2 of a hoagie home...Also have a big bag of chips that I might be forced to get into.....
You all have a great rest of the day.....
Happy eating..............
