SUPPER CLUB - Tuesday, Dec 18

Good morning,

We have beautiful weather yesterday. It warmed up nicely in the afternoon and we had a small fire for happy hour. Bill worked all day with our friend, David, who is camped
next to us. They are full timers in there 40 foot fifth wheel. They were working under David’s trailer on suspension things. I’m not very mechanically inclined but I hear words like Springs, shackles equalizer, bolts. And apparently they are all broken or twisted out of shape. The further they got into the job, The more damaged Parts they found. This job will go on for most of the week I think. There wassn’t much for me to do except stay home and sew on my Christmas vintage. I worked several hours and knocked out only two blocks. And they were already cut out too. IT’s a time consuming pattern. Probably most of the week will be just like yesterday with me sewing and Bill at the neighbors.

Sorry I had the date wrong yesterday. Typing on a 2 inch keyboard can cause a lot of fat-finger mistakes when your finger isn’t really even that fat!

Jana, What a terrible accident that was with the boys in the van. Sometimes kids do such stupid things. I am glad the boy is showing some improvement

Becca, those are sweet gifts you are giving your grands!

Shirley Mae-Company can wear us out, much as we love having them. But when their behavior doesn’t quite measure up to the standards of your home, it makes it even harder. What’s next on your holiday agenda?

I think tonight we will have grilled chicken, And fry up sweet potato chunks with apple and onion. And a salad on the side.

Hello everyone,sunny & another nice day here.Got my walk in.

Got hair cut ,Was going to bake but other things jumped up.Denise Called.They are coming Sat.Then going Christmas Day to DGDs.Avery isn’t a good rider & its 61/2 hrs here from their house.So they decided to just stay home this year.We saw them Thanksgiving.

Jana Prayers for that young manKids sometimes don’t makewise decisions.

Chickie I love tea parties.Used to do them with my grands a lot.Glad you got to see DD.
And I knew all that sewing would be completed.

Maryz Billl is a true blue neighbor to help with that big overhaul.Sure it’s much appreciated.

Hi everyone! Eek I've been MIA again! I don't know what happens! Hours turn in to days and days turns in to a week or so! I've been extremely busy with doing stuff with the grandkids....I didn't think I was that busy though. We've been getting ready for school Christmas parties and going to concerts and just being busy I guess. You all won't believe it but I actually have my sewing room way cleaner! It's not totally clean but I can actually walk through there without fear of getting hurt!....it really was that bad!
We finished our Christmas shopping Sunday, waiting for a couple of things to come in the mail that I couldn't find in a store. Baking has been happening but come Friday it needs to go full force. The kids go to school till Friday and then are off till January 7th I believe.
The weather people burst my hope bubble for a white Christmas last night, they said we should be 63 on Christmas day, bummer......I'll probably need windows open in the house to stay cool! LOL
We're having leftover meatball soup for supper tonight, Dad is coming over.
I'll try to do better in getting on here.
