Supper club -Saturday, sept 15
Good morning!
We are all set up in our home for the week. This campground is under huge old cottonwood trees so lots of shade here. Met a gal camped in front of us. She is a wine-drinking quilter from Canada. She lives about 5-6 hrs NE of us and only about 3 hrs from Sue. She can’t ride the ATVs because of severe back problems so she stays in camp all day and quilts! We had a great visit, admired each other’s current patterns, and plan to stay in touch.
Irish, I wonder how your carpet order got messed up. I bet a typo when someone was entering it into computer. Hope they put a rush on it. You said your sis has to finish taxidermy projects. Does she do it too?
Becca, how is the storm watch going? Even if just heavy rain that can be bad. Flooding and trees down are a risk as I know you know. That’s how we lost the huge maple in our yard several years ago - just rain. It fell o er our shop. The twin to the neighbor’s tree that hangs over our house to this day.
Chickie, that baby quilt couldn’t have been more purrfect! Hope the next baby is a boy! Lol! So any more rental news? Doyal got rid of one to DGS, right? Any more?
Tina, glad you are feeling better. Your strength will come back soon.
Pam, how did WW go? I’m sure you had a loss.
Jana, I love that your Ethan is such a good eater. Most kids aren’t. My DD#1, Lara, at age 46, still is VERY picky. Did you get your projects finished yesterday? We were surprised to see the growth in Ely. Lots of big new businesses. Saw the RR museum/historical site. But didn’t stop.
Supper tonight will be burgers. Have to go to store this morning for buns and a few other Items. Will be feeding my sis & DBIL. Actually, with our crockpot and made-ahead meal prep from home, we’ll be feeding them most nights. I like doing that. We’re all tired after all day rides. No one wants to cook.

Hello everyone,We still have sun here.Been watching some of the weather about Florence. Our DGD & DD are getting lots of rain.Looks like it will turn to VA more & miss us mostly.Sure we will have rain .
Maryz The wind is the worst part but lots of rain brings down trees too.Saw on news lots of trees & power lines down in so many areas. Will be a long clean up ahead.
Your trip sounds like fun & making new friends is always good especially if they quilt.Enjoy.
I got walk in early.Think today will be slower .This has been a busy week so it’s time.
DH wants hot dogs & fries.Mine is banned salad,Grapes. Becca
The cooking will change with DS here.Have to make more nutritious food.Since hw works all day.

Yep, Mary, I am now down 5.8 lbs. My goal is 2-3 pounds a week, which would get me below 200 in the 26 weeks.
Today, I need to run to Home Depot and pick up some painting supplies. Our renter moved out. Why oh why did he take down the smoke detectors and CO detector and lose pieces of them? Have to buy all new. Supper tonight is kelbasi with cabbage and vinegar.

Hello! I was trying to post and my computer went black. I can't get it to come back, so it will go in the shop next week.
Pam--my weight loss took 2 years and it averaged 0.5 pounds a week. some weeks were gains. it was long and frustrating, but so worth it. now to maintain. that's worse!!!
Renters!!! they ALWAYS remove the batteries from the smoke alarms or destroy the entire alarm. I thought they used to remove 9V batteries to use in their electronic devices. now, from the looks of the stoves and walls, I think they were constantly going off. Stupid people!!!
Becca-- I keep watching the weather and hoping you aren't getting hammered!
Jana--i hope Sarah's property stays safe! I also have empathy for the ones who lost everything. Still, it's just stuff on the overall picture. hard to comprehend at first when you don't have a toothbrush let alone change of clothes, but you soon realize what is important.
dinner tonight... something with beef. this is from my phone, so apologies for typing and punctuation!
