I have an idea for a block swap. I was thinking of 100% cotton solids, with no white, beige, or cream. You would pick your block. It can be traditional, applique, or something you come up with. If you want to have embroidery, it must be hand done, no machine embroidery.

So let me know if this is something you would be interested in doing.

Lori, I would definitely be interested...especially if we could use black...
I LOVE all solids!

Sonya

Edited to say...No white, beige or cream would make it perfect!..as far as I feel.

Mary and Sonya, yes you can use black. I was thinking about doing black background, but didn't want to limit the possibility of color.

Teresa, You could make hole in the barn door using navy background and a bright yellow and orange. I'll sew up a few blocks tomorrow. I was at Quiltcon today and got some ideas.

I already like Teresa's Hole in the Barn Door!...

I'll be watching...

Great idea!

Hmmmm, I have never used all solids or solid black. So this could be interesting. The LOTTO has been nice for me to try new techniques, so maybe this could be also.

Will look for your examples and size of block. ;)
Have Fun,
