Stop Praying and Start Moving

Many passages of Scripture speak of the importance of crying out to God in times of distress. n Lamentations we read "Arise, cry out in the night...pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord" Lam 2:19. There comes a point, however, when the time for crying out is past and our clear instruction from the Lord is to take action.

That's what God said to Moses. The Israelites didn't need to worry about the details; God would take care of everything.

Sometimes prayer is an excuse for inaction. When you hear God telling you to move in a certain direction take two words of advice: DO IT!! If you delay, you may well find yourself distracted and possibly miss out on the blessing God has for you.

Hugs and Prayers

A example of listening and Do It happened to Michael not long ago. It wasn't a big distressing thing, but something very simple he was trying to do. We had a faucet that needed a hose replaced. He tried several times to get that part out and the part wasn't coming. It frustrated him and he started to walk away and pleaded, help! The very distinct, go back and keep trying. Michael did just that and did succeed in getting the part out and replaced. So the lesson here, is when you ask, Do it! It doesn't need to ge only big things, but all things.
