Decision on new machine
Any suggestions as to which Janome to buy for intermediate quilter. I am considering skyline s5 and also looked at gently used mc9500. Especially interested if you think the 9500 is too old to consider. Thanks.

I am a Bernie fan though I have a little Janome for travel in my RV. Mary Q on the forum just bought a Skyline 5. She is hosting the February Lotto in the SWAPS section. you might ask her what she thinks of it and if she did any research into other machines. you don't say how old the 'gently used' machine is. Would it be sold with any kind of warranty? Is an mc9500 a Janome? I don't know all the model numbers of all machines. Have fun shopping and I hope you find the machine of your dreams.
