I have to remember to search for fabric at the church (that's where all my stuff is) to take to sew in on Friday. Thursday is Board of Trustee meeting so DH can help me get machine into the car. Will get done what I can.

Everyone's blocks look wonderful! And all blue. And I pulled blue fabrics, too! lol! Maybe I'll switch to some yellows and pinks. I hope to be able to get to sewing something this week. But I just this minute remembered we have out of state friends visiting for two days later in the week. Guess it will be next weekend before I get time to sew. But I WILL sew! lol!

TeeHee Maryz - THat would have been a wide-eyed face I would have loved to see when you opened the door and your friends were there. Good thing you remembered now Happy to hear you have some sewing time ahead!!!!

Velda and Lori - Great fabric selections and great block placements for all of them. I have to say though I have fallen in love with Velda's pretty blue one (lower left). Would go perfect as a pillow in me living room. Guess I need to cross my fingers and toes. Edita Sitar has a great Blue Sky collection happening now that melts my heart
I do agree with Maryz that we will need more colors so I am stash diving into maybe greens and Hmmmmm whatever catches my fancy

Katy - great to here that Shirley will be joining us this month. Her blocks are always wonderful especially for an 83 youngun. I hope I can make blocks just as good as hers at 83.

Valerie - How is the organization and moving of your Dad going? I think that is the reason your sewing joys are at the Church?? Always eager to see your choices

Cutting mine out today so I can stitch them together tomorrow. I have one more January Lotto block to make (yes cutting it close), My Valentine's strips ready to sew and stitch together and then pick, choose and cut for February. Jamie has a GREAT cutting table that is easy on my back.

I got 6 blocks finished yesterday, all in yellow. I hope to have time to make a few pink ones, too. But we have company coming today for two days, and two birthday parties over the weekend as well as Super Bowl, so I may not circle back to this until Monday.
