Jan 18 daily devotion

Image
Psalm 139
It is so awesome to realize that God in His providence is all knowing and cares about us and every detail in our life. Liberal theologians have developed a contemporary theology of "theism" which declares that God doesn't know the future because it has not yet happened. That is a blatant denial of the Word of God and testimony of Scripture. The word providence comes from the Latin, pro-video, which means to see beforehand. God, in His omniscience, knows everything that is going to happen to us and is able to use it for His purpose. Many seem to have the opinion that the world is so big and God is so busy that He cannot be concerned about the details of our life; but Jesus said that He even knows the number of hairs on our head and sees every sparrow that falls.

Thank Izzy .It always amazes me to think that God knows the number of hairs on my head.Yet I know it’s true. And he wants to hear from us anytime. So comforting to know.
God is ever with us at all times.A great blessing. Becca

Izzy your devotion today is so true. It is very inspirational knowing that God is always watching me and knows what I am doing. I truly believe it.
