Oct 11 daily devotion

Psalm 87

Global missions have been revolutionized in recent years by the recognition that our task is not simply proclaiming the gospel in as many countries as possible for whatever may result but is to make the gospel accessible to all peoples. God's desire is that all the peoples of the world know HIm and become a part of His Kingdom.

When Jesus gave the Great Commission and told us to disciple the nations His expression literally meant all the ethnic-linguistic people groups of the world.

God is tracking the progress of global evangelization and noting which peoples have representatives in His kingdom. Once the gospel has touched every people group, and a representative remnant of believers has been gathered into God's kingdom, Jesus indicated that will complete the Great Commission and signal His return.

Hugs and prayers

What a blessing it is to have the Gospel roll forth, from the mountains of the Lord.

The church has over 478 missions in the world today, sending out more than 75,000 missionares to bring the truth to those seeking. I have seen in my lifetime the many miracles of countries open their borders to receive the missionares, where once they were not allowed. These miracles are still happening, despite the Adversary trying his hardest to thwart the Lord's work, knowing his reign of terror is fast coming to a close.

During the time that my sons were serving their missions, my family was richly blest. We received many tender mercies, blessings during those boys hard missionary work.

Izzy Missions are alive & well in the World even though the unbelievers would have you think otherwise. We know all men must be reached or at least hear the Word.God gave us a commission to go. Missionaries need our prayers as they go to strange lands or wherever they are. We are missionaries wherever God has placed us. Becca
