Psalm 13

Even though the question about the time of God's intervention remained, the psalmist reaffirmed his trust in the Lord's mercy. His trust was in God, not himself. The same God whose covenant promised that He would show faithful love to those who love and obey Him.

Are you singing God's praises today!! I am every day. God is good all the time! without HIM I would be nothing.

Sing Joy to the LORD and enjoy another blessed day!!

Hugs prayers and God bless

The song of the righteous is a prayer unto me the scripture reads. We are counselled to keep a prayer with us always, what a better way than to sing the beautiful hymns. Here in our home, music brightens the day and to hear my little ones singing is a blessing.

Hi, thanks for your daily devotion, Izzy. I just finished up a bible study program at a nearby church this morning. A neighbor invited me and I have so enjoyed meeting with a group of ladies each week and studying 1st and 2nd Corinthians, Paul's letters to the Corinthian church. Our study guide was written by Kelly Minter, All Things New. Each week we began with a 30 min video by Kelly as she pointed out the things that inspired her in that weeks study chapters. The teacher was very knowledgeable about the bible and conducted a truly interesting and inspiring bible study for 8 weeks.

I am considering attending this church. It is bible based and a wonderful group of caring Christian people. I know God has a plan for my life and I feel I am being pointed in this direction. Please keep me in your prayers today as I search for a church home in this area.

Thank you izzy for your devotions each day. I look for them and miss you when they aren't there. And I say a special prayer for you when they are not there because I know life and all you do for others takes priority and you are probably overwhelmed by it all. Prayers for your family and especially for you as you try to help so many others. God is at your side and angels are surrounding you all as you buzz thru your more than busy days. God bless you always.

Jana and Becca and all who come here to read or respond or just to ponder God's word, thank you for your thoughts too. Studying alone or together, we all need to be in God's word each day.

And Jana, music really is a beautiful form of praising God with voices uplifted to the heavens, joining the songs of the birds, in praise of God and all His creation. Our bible study leader often ended our studies by reading some verses from a hymn. The angels have to be smiling to hear the voices and words, especially the little ones in God's kingdom. God bless you for your inspiring words.

Becca, your life is so demanding right now but God sees all, knows all, and holds us in the palm of His Hand. May you feel the comfort and peace of God's angels watching over you and your family now and always. God bless you too for reaching out to others when your own life is so filled with the needs of family.

It's a beautiful day. Thank God for it now and always.

Hugs and love, Shirley Mae
