Selah!!

I love it that you all look up terms and add to the daily devotions:) Selah can also indicate time for action like drop to your Knees in prayer, strike up a song, or picking up instrument and playing. The good thing is when we stop and pause after reading our verses we often do want to pray, sing or strum a note or two:)

May todays verses guide you and lead your daily walk.

Hugs prayers and God bless

Izzy
Verse 1 Count your Blessings reminds me of a commentary my DGS wrote on Facebook this AM He was thanking God for his wife & children & all his blessings.
We need to do that everyday.

Verse 2 it's so important to stay focused on God to keep our mind off the things that surround us in today's World. And to be praying for those who don't know our loving God.
Blessings to all of you. Becca

I am Singing! We sing a hymn named Count your Blessings.

In one verse, we sing,

Are you ever burdened with a load of care,
Does the cross you seem heavy you are called to bear?
Count your many blessings every doubt will fly
And you will be singing as the days go by.

Chorus:

Count your blessings, name the one by one,
Count your blessings , see what God has done,
Count your blessings, name them one by one
Count your many blessings see what God has done.

Counting blessings is wonderful for the soul.
