Thanks ladies, I'm hoping to make pieced blocks to mingle in amongst the key blocks...
I have a plan though for any 13" blank squares I may get... It should work out nicely.
Very excited!! This will be a very interesting quilt! I'm so glad I joined!

Actually Vinae, I'll change my request to a 13" plain square of back ground fabric if that's ok...
I'm sure the ladies won't mind :)

Jacquie- ok 13 inch square sounds great!

Everyone- we will make 8 blocks and cut one 13 inch background square for Jacquie's other block.

I was almost able to show you a sample block of the 'book' block...
The fabric I had cut out for the book has ink all over it which I hadn't noticed...
I've contacted the seller asking for a placement...
I will now have to wait for the new fabric to arrive before I can continue...

Lori- excited to see too.

Jacquie- that has happened to me once, not ink, but a miss print all the way down the middle. Blah! They sent me out a replacement right away.

Boooo...

The admin team are discussing it with the management... as I had already used the fabric the admin team don't think I'll get a replacement... I may just have to replace it myself...
