Would you like me to do a SBS with a key coming FROM her back?

Actually, I've just found this... which would incorporate a SBS and a trunk. I was going to do a trinket box but I wouldn't mind doing something like this instead!...
Vinae, what do you think??
A different style of SBS, in maybe civil war fabrics...

Here is a 'doodle' of the trinket box... The braid ribbon would be used in this block or the SBS block...
The 'beads' coming out of the trinket box are a strand of 'antique gold' sequins I have coming in the next couple of days...
Vinae, the decision is yours lol...

whichever I don't make, maybe someone else would like to make it instead?

Jacquie- wow you have been busy. Great work! I am really not into sunbonnet sue. It would be cute for a different quilt. I like your trinket box the best.

Jacquie, both of your drawings are beautiful. I prefer the trinket box too.

Re: Aplique Antique Skeleton Key Swap.Finished. Packages on their way
Hi all, I've been busy the last couple of afternoons but have managed to take a look at the 'Trinket box'. A few alterations later I've almost put one together.
The sequins need hand sewing dow. I tried with the machine but it left large horrid holes in them
I also have to sew down the key yet.
I also have to add a 'key hole' to the front.
I will also try and tie in the edging cotton to the same colour as the fabrics, with a darker shade for highlighting of edges instead of using dark brown... Maybe look at buttonhole stitch too for the outsides.
The box felt 'bland' to me so I have attached a black lace motif to the side. I have included an enlarged picture of it for you to see...
Opinions please before I add one to the other boxes...Vinae are you happy with the sample before I put the rest together?
Thanks deary, Hugs Jacquie xxx

Jacquie, that is perfect. I need to get busy and draw mine up. I have an idea in my head. Let's see if I can make it how I envision it. Lori
